Infinite Studios Batam is a film and animation studio. It is located in Nongsa, Batam. The studio was once the largest in Southeast Asia. However, a larger studio was built in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. But it remains the largest in Indonesia.
Many international films were produced here. The most recent is Half World Season 2. It aired on HBO Asia. Part of it was filmed in Batam at Infinite Studios Batam.
The indoor studio is behind the main building. The corridors are full of film posters. There are also photos of film making and behind-the-scenes documentation.

The first room is an underground bar with two floors. The dim lighting enhances the underground setting. Iron pipes and pressure gauges decorate the room. They look like real iron pipes. But they are just painted paralon pipes.
Next to it is a bar area. It has tables and chairs. A catwalk with bright white lights runs through the room. It makes you feel like a star. Beside the bar is a closed fighting arena. It has wire mesh and audience seats.
The tour continues through the dark maze. It leads to a torture chamber. The entrance is filled with real nails. Inside, there is a chair with iron shackles and fake blood.
Outside, there is an outdoor set. It is located behind the building. It is an old town with buses and trucks. This set was used for the Singaporean film Serangoon Road and 1965. It represents old Singapore.
