In 1993, a dream came true for the community of Sungai Buloh. The SK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh opened its doors. This wasn’t just any school. It was a beacon of hope, built in the heart of what was once a rubber estate. Imagine the transformation. From rows of rubber trees to a place of learning. SK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh quickly became a vital part of the community. It served a diverse student population, including many children from the nearby military camp. The school’s first headmaster, Tn Hj Johari bin Ahmad, led from 1993 to 1995. By 2009, SK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh had grown significantly, boasting nearly 2,000 students and almost 100 teachers. The school continued to flourish under the leadership of subsequent headmasters. En Saffie bin Ismail took the helm in 2014. He guided a dedicated staff of 109 teachers, nurturing over 1,700 students across morning and afternoon sessions, plus 50 preschoolers. SK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh stands as a testament to the power of education and community. It has truly blossomed from humble beginnings. It continues to shape young minds, fostering a spirit of “Berilmu, Berakhlak, Berinovasi” – knowledgeable, ethical, and innovative.
