This Beijing-based company, officially known as LandSpace Technology Corporation, has quickly become a key player in commercial space launches. LandSpace focuses on developing liquid-fueled rocket engines and low-cost commercial launch vehicles. Their goal is to provide standardized launch service solutions to a global market. LandSpace achieved a remarkable feat in July 2023. Their Zhuque-2 rocket became the world’s first methane-fueled launch vehicle to successfully reach orbit. This marked a significant milestone not only for LandSpace but also for the global space industry. The Zhuque-2 can carry an impressive payload of up to 6,000 kg into low Earth orbit.
