Castro dos Arados boasts three rings of fortified walls, built with rough-hewn stones, some reaching a height of six meters. The walls create an elliptical enclosure, where, within, the remains of round and rectangular houses are still visible. The inhabitants of this fortified village were skilled blacksmiths, and their tools, made of iron and bronze, have been found in excavations.
