The church building stands proudly on the corner of Eagle Rock and York Boulevards. It welcomes all who seek solace and community. Services are held every Sunday at 9:30 AM. You’ll find convenient parking in the lot behind the church. Look for the blue awning, then walk down the hall and down the stairs to the sanctuary. A chair lift is available for those with mobility needs. In February 2023, the Occidental United Presbyterian Church welcomed Pastor Tiffany Ashworth. Pastor Ashworth’s journey to Occidental is a testament to her deep-rooted faith and dedication. She felt the call to ministry early in life. However, she first embarked on a career teaching high school English before pursuing formal theological training. Pastor Ashworth received her Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2020. She was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in March 2023. Her passion for sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ shines through in her work in Christian education, justice work, spiritual formation, pastoral care, and preaching. The Occidental United Presbyterian Church thrives under her compassionate leadership. Pastor Ashworth resides in Pasadena with her husband, Justin, and their two children, Jude and Reese. She finds joy in the simple pleasures of life: the outdoors, her children’s laughter, early morning runs, the performing arts, and cherished moments with family and friends.
