Gazing upon Manna Mission, one might sense the echoes of its thirty years of service. Manna Mission in Accra, Ghana, is more than just a church. It’s a beacon of hope, a testament to the power of faith in action. Manna Mission has grown from humble beginnings to become a leading voice in Ghana and beyond. It partners with the Ghanaian government to deliver healthcare and education. It also provides crucial community support, all while upholding its Christ-centered mission. Manna Mission is a place where faith intertwines with practical action. The organization runs Manna Hospital. This hospital has treated over 800,000 outpatients, admitted more than 70,000 patients, performed over 12,000 surgeries, and delivered more than 15,000 babies. The hospital employs over 300 staff. It handles everything from cholera to complex baby surgeries. Manna Mission brings in foreign experts. These experts work alongside and train local staff, enhancing the hospital’s capabilities. Dozens of staff members have been sent overseas for further training. Manna Mission also established a nursing college in partnership with Oral Roberts University’s Anna Vaughn College of Nursing. This college aims to train Christ-centered professional nurses, filling a critical need in the country. Manna Mission doesn’t stop there. It includes Manna Mission Church, Manna Mission Hospital, Manna Bible Institute, and Manna Mission Academy. Each institution contributes to transforming society. The church has over 20 branches internationally. Manna Mission Academy has graduated over 500 students. These students have gone on to become responsible professionals in Ghana. The organization has plans for a Senior High School and a University College. Manna Mission’s future looks bright. It envisions a Tele-medicine Program. This program will broadcast lectures from Oral Roberts University to students in Ghana. They also aim to train pastors in theology, management, and basic medical care. This holistic approach addresses the mind, spirit, and body. Dr. Seth Ablorh, President of Manna Mission, received the Order of Volta Award in 2018 for his leadership. Manna Hospital was recognized as the first baby-friendly Hospital in Greater Accra. It was also named the Best Private Hospital in Greater Accra in 2013.
