They built it into the beloved Quartierspark Warnitzer Bogen we see today. A collaborative effort. The park’s evolution is a unique story. Initially. the park lacked diverse outdoor leisure options. In the 1990s. that changed. Several areas underwent development. The result? A park brimming with recreational opportunities. The centerpiece is a unique feature. A pfuhl a pond-like area runs parallel to the Warnitzer Bogen building. It collects both surface water and rainwater from the nearby shops. This pfuhl is a distinctive element. It mirrors the natural landscape of the surrounding Barnim region. It’s a reminder of nature’s enduring presence even within a city.
For children and teenagers. Quartierspark Warnitzer Bogen is a playground. A sandy area. a challenging climbing landscape. and a water play area are specially designed for young visitors. The skate area has been expanded. New features have made it even better. New seating areas give older children a place to relax.
