Welcome to the St Joseph Seminary Hanoi – Co Nhue campus. It is a vital institution for the Catholic Church in northern Vietnam. This seminary serves dioceses where priesthood vocations thrive. It inspires those seeking a deeper connection with their faith.
The Archdiocese of Hanoi inaugurated this new major seminary. It is dedicated to St. Joseph. The inauguration took place on February 24. About 40 seminarians have already moved into the seminary. It will serve the dioceses of northern Vietnam. Archbishop Joseph Vũ Văn Thiên reported on the growing interest in the priesthood among young men.
Built in just one year the five-story St Joseph Seminary Hanoi – Co Nhue campus spans 10000 square meters. It is next to Hoàng Nguyên parish church. The seminarians moved in at the start of the new year. This signifies the vitality of the Vietnamese Church.
The inauguration Mass was held in the nearby parish. Many faithful attended. Some followed the service from outside in a large tensile structure.
