The 70-kilometer Dulle-gil Trail winds through forests and villages offering picturesque hikes. Dobongsan a popular entry point features a challenging trail popular with rock climbers. The park attracts around five million visitors annually eager to explore its diverse landscapes. Many trails are closed on a rotating basis though to safeguard the fragile ecosystem.
The park is home to a surprising variety of wildlife. While not famous for large animals it houses water deer wild boar and numerous bird species. Woodpeckers songbirds and even predators find refuge in this vibrant ecosystem.
