“Did you know that the Tabernáculo de Alabanza wasn’t always here in this building?” I ask. The Iglesia Tabernáculo de Alabanza stands before you. Its history is richer than many realize.
The Tabernáculo de Alabanza isn’t just a church. It’s a vibrant community hub. It’s a place of worship and a beacon of hope. Founded in 2009 it has grown into a large congregation of over 400 members. They work tirelessly to support those less fortunate.
Their Social Action Department is truly remarkable. A team of around thirty volunteers dedicates itself to aiding the community. They provide warm meals. They distribute blankets in winter. They organize summer camps for children. Even a soccer tournament is a regular fixture.
This wasn’t always the case. Before Triodos Bank’s funding a smaller building served as their place of worship. The new building is significantly larger. It can comfortably accommodate their growing congregation. It reflects the church’s expanding influence and its commitment to serving Madrid.
The Tabernáculo de Alabanza is more than bricks and mortar. It is a testament to faith hope and community. This is a place where people come together to celebrate their faith and serve their community. It is a vibrant center of life and activity.
Services are held regularly. Wednesdays at 8 pm Saturdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 11 am and 4 pm. They are known for their welcoming atmosphere and their commitment to helping those in need.
So as we stand here before the Iglesia Tabernáculo de Alabanza. Remember this is much more than just a building. It is a living breathing entity of faith community and service. A place of solace a place of strength and a place that significantly impacts the lives of many in Madrid.
