A school built in 1873. The Takatsuki City Takatsu River Elementary School stands before you, with a rich tapestry of history and a legacy of educating generations of students. Its name changed multiple times until it became known as the current Takatsuki City Takatsu River Elementary School. The school has seen its share of changes. The building was rebuilt in 1934 after previous ones were destroyed by fire. Eventually, the higher grades were moved to a new middle school.
