Reinhart Field is more than just a sports facility. It’s a vital part of SUNY Maritime College. This field hosts the Maritime College Privateers soccer football and lacrosse teams. It’s a place where athletic rivalries ignite and legends are born.

Did you know Reinhart Field once hosted the Monroe Mustangs? In 2012 this field was their home. The field boasts a seating capacity of 1500 expandable to 3500. Imagine the roar of the crowd during a crucial game. The Chowder Bowl a fierce annual football match against Massachusetts Maritime Buccaneers has been played here three times. The Privateers have dominated this rivalry winning five out of six games. Three of these victories took place right here on Reinhart Field.

Beyond the major games Reinhart Field hosts local rivalries. Lehman College and City College CUNYAC frequently play here. This showcases the field’s role in the broader New York City athletic scene. The field is more than a place for competition. It serves as a venue for intramural sports and recreational activities. The students use it during their Regimental Indoctrination graduation.

The recently updated Astro-play turf ensures optimal playing conditions. The state-of-the-art sound system adds to the excitement. Even the view is spectacular. The East River Whitestone Bridge and Lower Manhattan offer a stunning backdrop.

Reinhart Field. More than a field it’s a stage where athletic dreams are pursued and memories are made. A legacy of competition camaraderie and community spirit lives here.
