Established in 1993, the Faculty of Philosophy and History of Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens stands as a unique beacon in Greece. This is the only department in the country dedicated to this interdisciplinary field. Originally called the “Department of Methodology, History and Theory of Science”, it was renamed to its current title in 2017. The Faculty is part of the University’s School of Science.
