The Ankara Nostaljik Tramvayı began its service on October 28 2021. It became Ankara’s first city nostalgic tram system. This system offers a unique way to experience the park. It is not integrated into the city’s public transport network. Instead the tram provides a circular service within the park.

Imagine yourself aboard the Başkent Millet Bahçesi Nostaljik Tramvayı. The gentle rocking motion and the chugging of the diesel engine create a unique atmosphere. The tram moves slowly allowing you to absorb the surroundings.

The Başkent Millet Bahçesi Nostaljik Tramvayı line stretches 2.7 kilometers. Along the track are six stops. They are named after nearby attractions. You will find yourself at the Sanat Okulu. Next you will be at the Macera Parkı. Then you arrive at the Millet Kütüphanesi. The Hipodrom is also a stop. You can also get off at the Tarım Atölyesi. The last stop is at the Cami. Each stop presents an opportunity to explore different facets of the park.

The tram operates with two single-car diesel vehicles. Each car has a capacity of 20 people. These vehicles travel in both directions. One circles clockwise the other goes counter-clockwise. This ensures continuous service for park visitors.
