Established in 1994 Thể trấn Trảng Bom stands before us. This bustling township is the heart of Trảng Bom District in Đồng Nai Province. It’s a place where history whispers through the streets.

Initially a small village Trảng Bom grew significantly. Its location on National Highway 1 boosted its development. The highway connects it to Ho Chi Minh City and Bien Hoa. This strategic position played a crucial role in its growth.

Under the Nguyen Dynasty Trảng Bom was part of Đồng Thành Village. It belonged to Phước Thành tổng in Phước Bình District. During French colonial times it became part of Bình Trước village. Later it was included in Vĩnh Thuận tổng Châu Thành District.

The creation of Trảng Bom as a commune occurred in 1957. It remained under Châu Thành District’s administration. In 1963 Châu Thành District became Đức Tu District. Trảng Bom stayed within its boundaries.

A significant shift happened in 1976. Trảng Bom Commune was split into two: Trảng Bom 1 and Trảng Bom 2. They fell under Thống Nhất District in Đồng Nai Province. The division further shaped the area.

In 1994 Trảng Bom 1 was divided again. This division created the Thể trấn Trảng Bom we see today. It simultaneously formed the Sông Trầu commune. These changes reflect the dynamic growth of the region.

The year 2003 brought another change. Thống Nhất District was divided. This division created the independent Trảng Bom District. Thể trấn Trảng Bom became its capital. It solidified its status as a key location.

May 27 2019 marked a milestone. The Construction Ministry declared Thể trấn Trảng Bom an official Type IV town. This recognition reflects its development and infrastructure. It now includes parts of Đội 61 Sông Trầu and Quảng Tiến communes.

Today Thể trấn Trảng Bom thrives. Its vibrant community reflects its rich and evolving past. It continues to grow as a vital center. It serves as a testament to its resilient people. It shows the enduring strength of the region. The story of Trảng Bom’s growth is a testament to Vietnam’s progress. It embodies the spirit of transformation and development. This town stands as a symbol of growth.
