To reach La Quebrada del Amor get to Iquitos first. Iquitos is the world’s largest city unreachable by road. You can get there only by air or water. It is nestled deep within the Amazon Rainforest. From Iquitos take a mototaxi to Puerto Nanay. Then take a ferry boat to Padre Cocha. The public boat should cost only 3 soles. Avoid private boats that try to charge more. Walk straight through the town on the main street in Padre Cocha. Continue into the jungle. Everyone knows where La Quebrada del Amor is. Ask around until someone escorts you. The walk takes about 25 minutes. You can also ask for Rider Tangoa’s house. A family member should be there to greet you.
