Let’s journey back to a special day for Mushallah Darut Taubah. The Governor of the Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad, visited during Ramadan. His visit highlighted the mosque’s role in the community. He was accompanied by his wife Dewi Kumalasai Ansar. Other important figures were present. They included Widya Iswara Ahli Utama and members of the Province’s Development Acceleration Team. Even the religious teacher Ustad Riza Al Hafidz joined.
Governor Ansar encouraged Muslims to observe fasting with pure intentions. He also urged them to fill the holy month with good deeds. He reminded everyone that Allah multiplies rewards during Ramadan. He hoped everyone’s fasting would be accepted. He wished for all to complete the fast successfully. He looked forward to celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
The Governor also spoke about development programs. These programs aim to advance the region. They include education initiatives such as scholarships. There is also sea transportation assistance for students. Health programs offer health and work accident insurance for fishermen. This is a collaboration with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. There are also shelters for people needing medical treatment in Batam and Jakarta.
Economic programs support UMKM entrepreneurs. These programs offer business capital loans with zero percent interest. This is done in partnership with Bank Riau Kepri Syariah. There are also incentives for RT and RW leaders.
Governor Ansar led the congregation in reciting sholawat busyro and isyfa’lana. This showed love for Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Ustad Yamin, Head of DKM Masjid Darut Taubah, expressed his gratitude. He appreciated Governor Ansar’s visit. He said that it strengthened ties with the Tanjung Buntung community. He hoped for the Governor’s long life and good health. He wished that his prayers would be answered.
During his visit, Governor Ansar donated Rp 45 million for the mosque’s construction. Ustad Yamin received the donation. He also provided assistance to elderly members of the mosque.
