ICGC Cornerstone Temple

Beyond these walls, at the ICGC Cornerstone Temple, faith finds its home. The International Central Gospel Church, or ICGC, is more than just a building. It’s a testament to the power of belief. ICGC was founded by Pastor Mensa Otabil. Its story began on 26 February 1984. Here at the Cornerstone Temple, the energy is palpable. The ICGC has deep roots in Accra. It’s not just a place of worship, but a pillar of the community. The church’s impact extends far beyond its walls. It’s a beacon of hope. ICGC has made significant contributions to Ghanaian society through various initiatives. One example is Central University. It began as Central University College and is now the largest private university in Ghana. Another initiative is Central Aid. This scholarship program supports the education of needy students in pre-tertiary institutions. It’s one of the largest non-governmental educational scholarship schemes in Ghana. ICGC also hosts an annual charity event, “Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh.” Proceeds from this event are donated to the Children’s Cancer Unit at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Since 2011, over 1500 children have benefited from these donations. The ICGC Cornerstone Temple embodies the spirit of giving. It reminds us that faith can move mountains and transform lives.
