“Once a humble district” is how our story of Tatlar begins. Tatlar is a neighborhood tied to Sincan in Ankara. Imagine how it transformed over time.

Once known as G\u00f6\u00e7men Mahallesi. It was connected to G\u00f6kler village. Tatlar achieved village status on August 16 1954. This marked a turning point for the community.

In 2004 Ankara became a metropolitan municipality. Tatlar’s village status ended. It reverted to being a neighborhood. This change occurred because of a law. The law concerned boundaries of metropolitan municipalities. It affected villages within a 50 km radius.

Tatlar is 45 km from Ankara’s city center. It lies 18 km from Sincan’s district center. Tatlar is part of the \u0130\u00e7 Anadolu B\u00f6lgesi. This is the Central Anatolia Region.

The population of Tatlar has seen changes. In 2023 the population was 181. Population numbers varied between 2007 and 2023.

Tatlar is governed by a Mukhtar. An ihtiyar heyeti assists the Mukhtar. This council helps manage the neighborhood.
