Emerging from humble beginnings, Believer’s Chapel stands as a testament to a powerful spiritual movement. In the 1960s, Prophet J.O. Amissah I founded the Ghana Believers Church. This church propelled a charismatic wave across Ghana in the early 1980s, preceding the modern charismatic trend we see today. Believer’s Chapel, affectionately known as “Believers,” became a cornerstone of this movement. The church has expanded significantly since its inception. It now boasts countless branches throughout Ghana. This growth reflects the widespread impact of Prophet Amissah’s teachings. Believer’s Chapel continues to nurture the spiritual lives of its members. In 2018, the church held its National Annual Peaceful Year Convention. Members from all branches gathered for this significant event. They came together to express gratitude for the past year and seek guidance for the future. The convention’s theme, “Seeking the right path; with a rightful heart,” resonated deeply with attendees. This annual gathering is a crucial part of Believer’s Chapel’s calendar. It provides a dedicated time for members to connect with their faith and seek God’s direction.
