Two British soldiers lie here. Their names lost to time. This unassuming grave at the Grave of British Soldiers at the Bluff marks their final resting place. It’s a somber reminder of the Revolutionary War. A brutal fight occurred on this very spot.

The graves are just over the wall on the opposite side of the road. Coburn’s account helps pinpoint the approximate location of this small memorial.
