He discusses the basics of Christian faith over six sessions. After completing these sessions, individuals can join the membership of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.

While Mount Calvary Lutheran Church has a rich history spanning many years, another Mount Calvary Lutheran Church was founded in Brentwood, Missouri, on October 30, 1931. It started with six Brentwood families. They received help from Christ Lutheran Church and Concordia Lutheran Church. Pastor O.J. Klinkermann became the congregation’s first pastor.

In 1951, the growing congregation bought a larger property. It was once a restaurant and nightclub. Much work was needed to transform it into a church. By 1964, even more space was needed. A new church building was constructed adjacent to the old one.

Mount Calvary continues to share the good news of Jesus Christ. It serves its neighbors both near and far. The church finds ways to be extraordinary servants in His kingdom. Remember Mount Calvary. It stands as a beacon of faith, community, and service in the heart of Los Angeles.
