Bremner served as a bombardier on B-24H #42-50417. His mission on that fateful day took him and his crew of ten from Lecce, Italy, to bomb an engine factory near Munich, Germany. As they approached the target, another B-24, #44-40324, was out of position. In the chaos of the skies, its wing struck Bremner’s fuselage. Both planes crashed near Landshut, Germany. Lt. Paul K. Bremner was killed in action. He received the Air Medal and the Purple Heart. His wife, Marion, lived in Brooklyn, New York. The LT. Paul K.
