It features a 1500-square-meter green roof and solar panels. The school even uses district heating. The new L-shaped building adds 2250 square meters of space. It’s environmentally friendly. The ground floor is for the Nymphenweg students. The upper floor houses the fifth grade of Grundschule an der Haake and a blacklight math room.
Grundschule an der Haake is a part-time full-day school. Children in grades one through four attend until 330 pm Monday through Wednesday. Instruction breaks and courses create a balanced schedule. On Thursdays and Fridays classes end at 1 pm. After-school care is available until 4 pm at no extra cost. Extended morning and evening care are also options.
The school offers various programs like digital learning. There’s also Jedem Kind sein Instrument (Every Child Their Instrument). It provides math and reading programs.
