Since 1994, Pastor Thomas Gross has led this congregation. He is an accomplished teacher. He helps us understand God’s word. His teachings inspire us to live out our faith daily.
Living Faith Christian Fellowship Church is an Assemblies of God church. It is located in the Gentilly section of New Orleans. This location allows us to serve our community effectively.
The church believes that the Bible is God’s Word. It is truth without error. It guides our daily lives. We believe in one God. He exists eternally in three persons. They are God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ’s deity. We also believe in the Holy Spirit’s personality. These beliefs form the foundation of our faith.
At Living Faith Christian Fellowship Church we believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Holy men wrote it long ago. They were moved by the Holy Spirit. We accept the New Covenant as our guide. It helps us with conduct and doctrine.
Our God manifests in three Persons. They are the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are coequal. God the Father is greater than all. He is the Sender of the Word. The Son is the Word made flesh. The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and Son.
Man was made in God’s image. Through Adam’s sin, sin entered the world. Jesus Christ gave His life. He shed His blood to redeem man back to God. Salvation is God’s gift. It comes through faith in Jesus Christ.
Eternal life comes through the New Birth. Water baptism is by immersion. It symbolizes our identification with Christ. We baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift from God. It is promised to all believers. Speaking in other tongues is the initial evidence.
Sanctification is a progressive work of grace. It begins at regeneration. It continues until Christ’s return. Divine healing is for our physical ills. It comes through prayer and the laying on of hands.
Jesus will return one day. The dead in Christ will rise first. Then we will meet the Lord in the air. He will reign as King of kings.
Those who die in their sins are eternally lost. They have no further chance to repent. Hell is real. It is a place of eternal retribution.
Over the years, God has healed people here. Some of those people were healed from cancer. The Spirit of God is always present during our services. Our worship is vibrant. It is full of life.
Living Faith Christian Fellowship Church is a place of healing. It is a place of worship. But above all it is a place where you can belong.
