The Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment Building is part of Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment. This university is a key institution under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. It also falls under the state management of the Ministry of Education and Training. The university is recognized as one of Vietnam’s National Key Universities. The Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment Building is located on the main campus. The main campus sits at No. 41A, Phu Dien Street, in the Bac Tu Liem District of Hanoi. The university boasts two campuses. The main campus is in Hanoi and a second campus is in Thanh Hoa. The Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment Building is a vital part of the Hanoi campus. This campus provides a spacious learning environment. It spans nearly 70,000 square meters and offers dormitory housing for over 2,000 students. It includes two dedicated scientific information centers and libraries. The university’s journey began modestly as the Meteorological Elementary School. Over the decades, it evolved. It became the Meteorological Intermediate School, then the School of Meteorological Officer, and later the School of Meteorological and Hydrological Officer. In 1994, it was renamed the Hanoi Meteorological and Hygiene Staff School, before becoming the College of Meteorology and Hydrology Hanoi in 2001. In 2005, a merger with Central Cadastral High School I led to the creation of the Hanoi College of Natural Resources and Environment. Finally, in 2010, it achieved university status, becoming the Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment that we know today. The Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment Building stands as a symbol of this remarkable transformation.
