Pastor Yong-Jo Ha, along with twelve families, founded the church with a vision inspired by the Book of Acts. They envisioned a church centered on the Gospel, guided by the Holy Spirit, and reaching out to all nations. This vision propelled Onnuri’s growth from a small gathering to one of South Korea’s 25 megachurches. Onnuri Community Church’s commitment to mission is evident in its extensive network of programs and organizations. Over 2,500 staff serve in Korea, nearly 500 serve overseas, and a dedicated team works online, demonstrating a global reach. One remarkable example is the establishment of eight M-Centers (Migrant Centers) across South Korea. More than 700 migrants have found faith in Jesus through these centers, and some have even returned to their home countries as missionaries.
