Ever heard of a temple where you can seek blessings to pass your Chartered Accountancy exams? Welcome to the Alwarpet Anjaneyar Temple. This temple is not just a place of worship it is a beacon of hope for CA aspirants.

Let me tell you the story of this unique temple. The Alwarpet Anjaneyar Temple stands on Luz Church Road. It is within the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative State Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ltd premises. Because of this location, some consider it a private temple.

The temple faces east and features a sanctum sanctorum. Above the sanctum sanctorum are three kalasas. Anjaneyar stands tall in Anjali hastam. At the back of the temple, you will find a Bhajan Hall for meditation.

Interestingly, the history of Alwarpet Anjaneyar Temple has connections to the 18th century. It is believed that Salivahana Chettiars from Mysore originally constructed the Luz Anjaneya Temple. They had migrated and settled in Mylapore. During the digging of a well, the Anjaneyar murti was unearthed. A temple was built on that very spot.

The Alwarpet Anjaneyar Temple is also known as CA Anjaneyar. It is believed that Anjaneyar’s grace can help one clear the CA examinations. Every Thursday, aspirants come bearing their hall tickets. They pray for success in their exams.

Maha Kumbhabhishekam was conducted on March 20, 2008. The temple celebrates regular poojas. Special poojas are conducted on Thursdays, Saturdays, Hanuman Jayanthi and Rama Navami. People also pray to Anjaneyar to remove obstacles in marriages.

The Alwarpet Anjaneyar Temple welcomes devotees from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and again from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. If you want more details, you can contact the temple. The landline number is 91 44-24992777.

The Alwarpet Anjaneyar Temple stands as a testament to faith. It embodies hope and divine intervention. Whether you are a CA aspirant or not, the Alwarpet Anjaneyar Temple offers solace and blessings to all who seek them.
