Ever wondered what it’s like to stand before a building that has seen Los Angeles history unfold? That is South Park Center. Since 1965, South Park Center has been a Los Angeles landmark. It was originally designed by William Pereira. He envisioned it as LA’s first modern high-rise.

In 2009, LBA Realty renovated the 32-story office building. Gensler & Associates, a world-renowned architectural firm, led the renovation. The renovation advanced Pereira’s modernist design into the 21st century.

Look up at the stunning two-story glass crown. It distinguishes South Park Center as an architectural beacon. You can see it from downtown, Crypto.com Arena, LA Live, and the 10 and 110 freeways.

The building’s exterior features elegant metal paneling. There is also special lighting and landscaping. Step inside. The lobby and entrance boast floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Elegant wood paneling and brushed stainless steel accents add to the appeal. Sandblasted granite walls and honed terrazzo floors complete the picture.

The retail and dining court offer a range of services. You can find quick-serve dining options there. An athletic club is available for employees and guests. South Park Center provides stimulating environments for its corporate customers, employees, and visitors.

South Park Center is located blocks from Crypto.com Arena. It sits in downtown Los Angeles’ LA Live/South Park District. The University of Southern California, WeWork, and Bally Sports call it home. The United Way of Greater Los Angeles and John Reed Fitness LA are also here.

The building comes alive with activity every working day. Corporate tenants and their visitors are an elevator ride away from business amenities. An urban marketplace of food, fitness, and shopping awaits.

The lobby-level retail concourse features high-quality brands. Trimana, Cilantro Fresh Mexican Grill, and FedEx Kinkos are here. There’s also a tenant lounge and a conference room. The conference room has flat-screen TVs and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.

The subterranean garden level offers a convenient dining center. It has generous indoor seating with flat-screen TVs. An outdoor Zen Garden provides a tranquil escape.

Did you know that South Park Center offers unique event spaces? The 485-seat theatre and penthouse suites are ideal for filming and private celebrations. Weddings, galas, fashion shows, film premieres, and corporate events have all been held here.

South Park Center has two parking garages. Valet service and access to DASH service are available. The DASH service connects to 7th St. Metro and Union Station.

South Park Center is more than just a building. It’s an urban complex for creative, tech, and professional firms. Dramatic views and flexible workspaces define it. It was once known as the AT&T Center, SBC Tower, Transamerica Building, and Occidental Life Building. The 32-story skyscraper stands 453 feet tall. It was the second-tallest building in Los Angeles when completed.

Considered a distinctive Los Angeles landmark, the illuminated penthouse crown is really something special. South Park Center continues to redefine what a modern office building can be. A place where history, innovation, and community come together.
