Phase two was completed in the summer of 2024. It included new playground equipment and an outdoor fitness area. An expanded walking loop was added too. Basketball court renovations made the park even better. Horseshoe courts, benches, picnic tables and trash bins completed this phase. The City of Detroit and the Gilbert Family Foundation funded this phase.
The final phase wrapped up in the fall of 2024. A new dog park was added. This was also funded by Wayne County Parks millage. Now, furry friends have a dedicated space to play.
