In 1997, two schools combined to create a new legacy. This legacy is the Nishinomiya City Kabutoyama Bay Elementary School. Nishinomiya City Kabutoyama Bay Elementary School opened its doors in April of that year. The former schools, Nishinomiya City Futo Kabutoyama Elementary and Nishinomiya City East Kabutoyama Elementary, were merged to form this new institution. The school prides itself on creating an environment of “smiles.” They aim to foster well-rounded individuals with strong character and academic abilities. This recognition highlighted their commitment to fostering environmental awareness among students. Nishinomiya City Kabutoyama Bay Elementary School further expanded its focus in 2007. It was designated a “Practice Promotion School for Environmental Experience Projects” by the Hyogo Prefectural Board of Education. The school also participated in the “Furusato Culture Classroom” project. This initiative focused on integrating local culture and heritage into the curriculum. They were designated a collaborative school for promoting positive interpersonal relationships by the Nishinomiya City Board of Education. Over the years, Nishinomiya City Kabutoyama Bay Elementary has remained committed to its educational goals. The school has continued to participate in various educational programs.
