Hidden within Changping District, a fascinating transformation is taking place at Academic Park 2. Academic Park 2 isn’t just another development. It represents a bold step into Beijing’s future as a global hub for innovation. This area, encompassing north and south plots, is bordered by Beishahe Middle Road, Gaojiaoyuan North 3rd Street, Beishahe West 5th Road, and the 6th Ring Road. The south plot is nestled between Beishahe West 3rd Road, Gaojiaoyuan Middle Street, Beishahe West 4th Road, and Gaojiaoyuan No.1 Road. Academic Park 2 is set to boast a substantial 268,700 square feet of floor space dedicated to retail, business, and entertainment. This ambitious project is more than just steel and concrete. It’s a testament to Beijing’s commitment to fostering high-end industries, specifically advanced energy, advanced manufacturing, and medicine and health. Academic Park 2 is also designed with international collaboration in mind, featuring dedicated office spaces for international organizations. Interestingly, the land developer for Academic Park 2 is currently undergoing changes. Despite this, the project is still anticipated to be listed for supply in 2023, with a validity period extending to December 31, 2025. The development of Academic Park 2 is part of a larger initiative called the Higher Education Park Phase II Project (2). This signals a focused effort by the Changping District People’s Government to solidify Beijing’s position in the global landscape of higher education and research. Academic Park 2, with its focus on high-end industries and international collaboration, stands as a symbol of Beijing’s forward-thinking approach to development. It’s a place where innovation is not just encouraged, but actively cultivated, paving the way for a brighter future for Beijing and the world.
