This transition marked a new chapter for the building. It continued to serve as a spiritual center.

The story of the Epiphany Roman Catholic Church is interesting too. In May 1924, Father Leo J Chapman held the first services under a tent. This was at the corner of Orangelawn and Mendota Streets. By September 1924, the first unit of the parish school was completed. It served as both a school and a place for sacred services. In 1926, the Epiphany School opened. A basement church followed in 1927. The main church structure was completed in 1934. A convent was added in 1928. A rectory was added in 1949.

During the 1940s and 1950s, the Epiphany Roman Catholic Church flourished. By 1929, the parish had over 1500 members. In the early 1950s, a building campaign raised $336000. This funded a Romanesque-style sanctuary that could hold 1050 people.

However, by 1989, attendance had dwindled to about 40 people per week. This led to its closure. In 2013, the buildings suffered damage from vandalism.
