Established in 1977 Universitas Ibnu Sina Seraya stands proudly in Batam. These were Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi STIE Sekolah Tinggi Teknik STT and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan STIKes. This significant union occurred on August 26 2019 under the umbrella of Yayasan Pendidikan Ibnu Sina Batam Yapista.
