Del Sol isn’t your typical high school. In 2016 it became a performing arts academy. It even won second place in the 2024 Henderson Winterfest parade. Del Sol also boasts one of the largest jazz programs in the entire Clark County School District. Five jazz bands wow audiences. Chris Dunfield and Ashton Hill were both amazing wrestlers.

It reflects the heart of Las Vegas. Past successes include winning the Flip the Script contest in 2012. This was a challenge to stop bullying. The school’s drumline was also named Drumline of the Year by a local radio station. Del Sol’s orchestra even received a superior rating at a festival in 2021. The school’s Symphonic Band and Orchestra received superior ratings way back in 2007.
