Masjid Ar-Rahman’s facilities are modest but practical. They include parking, storage space, air conditioning, a sound system for multimedia, a generator, restrooms, and of course, a dedicated wudhu area for ritual cleansing before prayers. The mosque serves as more than just a prayer hall for the five daily prayers. It plays a vital role in community development. It’s involved in zakat distribution, the collection and distribution of charitable giving. The mosque hosts educational activities, including a TPA (Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran), a madrasah (Islamic school), and a community learning center. Regular pengajian (religious study sessions) are held here. The mosque also organizes celebrations for Islamic holidays. All of these activities foster a sense of belonging and shared purpose among the residents. Masjid Ar-Rahman is run by a dedicated team. It has one pengurus (administrator), one imam (prayer leader), and while currently lacking a khatib (preacher), the spirit of the community remains vibrant. This small mosque plays a big role. It strengthens the social fabric of Tiban Lama. Masjid Ar-Rahman represents more than just bricks and mortar. It stands as a testament to the power of faith, community, and education.
