Inside each bedroom, residents find a lockable closet. Wall-to-wall carpeting adds comfort. An extra-long twin bed ensures a good night’s sleep. A three-drawer dresser, desk, and chair provide ample space for studying. Each room also includes a window with shades and high-speed internet.
But Piedmont Central is not just about personal space. Common areas abound, encouraging interaction and community. The dining hall offers all-you-can-eat meal plans seven days a week. During fall and spring, it’s open 24 hours Monday through Friday. So midnight cravings are easily satisfied.
Beyond dining, Piedmont Central provides a variety of specialized rooms. There’s a classroom for academic pursuits. Gather spaces encourage socializing. A chat space offers a relaxed setting. The 11-story building dedicates floors 2 through 12 to student residences and amenities. The ground floor houses a 15,000 sq ft dining hall. Community spaces, administrative offices, and live-learn classrooms are also found here.
