Let’s step inside KEPK. It was formed in 2020. Joseph Burgess, Melina Celik, Thomas Oliver, Fausto Vergara and Gabrielle Wilton founded it. Since 2023, Melina and Joseph have run KEPK voluntarily. It is located at Unit J/241 Station Rd, Yeerongpilly.
KEPK provides a temporal housing for experimental creative projects. The founders’ collective intention is to enable other creative practitioners. KEPK can be pronounced however you imagine it. That’s part of its charm.
This building encompasses an art gallery. There is also a photography and video studio. You will find artist studios here and an event space. KEPK focuses on providing a unique space. It is a place for experimental creative projects. KEPK is a socially conscious environment. It is for creatives.
The Photo/Video Studio is a highlight. The studio has a vertical cyclometer wall. It measures 3.6 meters high by 3.4 meters wide by 4.9 meters long. The ceiling height is over 8 meters. There is full remotely controlled RGBw top light. A staircase platform is available. You can hire equipment upon request. Photographer and videographer services are also available. Movable desk space is also available.
