The school relocated to its current Melrose Johannesburg location in 1934. It grew from 17 pupils to over 450 by 2016. Pridwin is a non-denominational day school. It has strong Christian values. The school aims to educate boys for life. It offers diverse opportunities.

Pridwin shares facilities with its neighbour St Vincent’s School for the Deaf. They have a unique relationship. This includes shared break times and sporting events. The school’s motto is Ex Nihilo Nihil Fit meaning Out Of Nothing Nothing Comes. This reflects the school’s dedication and purpose. The four school houses are named after Knights of the Round Table. These are Bedevere Galahad Lancelot and Tristram.

Pridwin offers a wide range of activities. These include athletics cricket and rugby. The school also has a strong arts and culture program. This includes music drama and an environmental club. The school has modern facilities. Three computer centres a library and a sports field are just some examples. Pridwin’s commitment to a holistic education continues to shape young lives.
