Imagine a family adventure beginning amidst the lush Manx countryside at Glenlough Campsite. It is a welcoming family-run site. Glenlough Campsite is nestled a short walk outside Union Mills on the Isle of Man.

Glenlough is the perfect base. It is only ten minutes from the buzz of Douglas. It offers well-sheltered pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Cosy pods provide extra comfort in the outdoors.

This campsite is especially popular during the Isle of Man TT festival. Glenlough remains busy throughout the season. Electric hook-ups and hard standing pitches are available for guests. Shower and toilet blocks ensure a comfortable stay at Glenlough.

Motorbike racing is world famous here. But even outside the TT festival, Glenlough offers plenty. Union Mills has local shops, a convenience store, a pub, a service station, and a post office.

Glenlough is spacious and flat. It has sheltered paddocks for tents, motorhomes, campervans, caravans and camping pods.

Adjacent to Glenlough is a secluded wooded glen. It is great for young adventurers to explore. The glen connects to the Manx Heritage Trail. This trail is ideal for walking or cycling through splendid countryside from Douglas to Peel.

The brilliant thing about staying at Glenlough is the island’s accessibility. The whole Isle of Man is reachable by car.

You might visit Castle Rushen. It is in Castletown. Peel Castle is another amazing construction. Guests who get Isle of Man money will notice Peel Castle on the reverse of the 10 notes.

Douglas is a must-visit. It has a stunning promenade along the beachfront and harbour. There are landmarks, attractions, entertainment, leisure, and shops.

Glenlough’s camping pods ensure a warm, dry, and comfortable stay. The Standard Pod sleeps up to three. It has carpeted flooring, camp beds, an electric light, and an oil heater. The Family Pod accommodates up to five. It features insulation, double doors, a rear window, lights, sockets, an oil heater, and airbeds.

Glenlough also provides facilities. These include electric hook ups, toilet/shower blocks, and a washroom with deep sinks. The Pit Stop has a TV room with Wi-Fi, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a toaster, and a kettle. Walkers and cyclists have access to a drying room and a water point.

Many places are nearby Glenlough. Peel Castle is a must-see. So are the Manx Museum and South Barrule.

A regular bus service stops at Glenlough’s entrance. It connects the campsite to the North, East, and West. Further connections reach the South and the airport via Douglas bus terminal.
