Seoul Banghwa Elementary School is in Banghwa-dong. Banghwa-dong is a neighborhood in Gangseo District, Seoul. Banghwa means flowers in Korean. The name comes from the many flowers on Gaehwasan mountain.
Banghwa-dong is a large area. It covers 9.83 square kilometers. In 2012, over 84,000 people lived here. That is about 8,816 people per square kilometer.
Banghwa station is nearby. It is on Line 5 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The station is in Gangseo-gu. It is the western end of Line 5.
Near the station are important places. There is the Banghwa 1-dong Citizen’s Center. Also, the Banghwa 3-dong Citizen’s Center. You can find the Banghwa Welfare Center. The Banghwa Police Station is there. So is the Banghwa Fire Station and Post Office.
Several schools surround Seoul Banghwa Elementary School. There is Chihyeon Elementary School. Samjeong Elementary School is also close. As well as Samjeong Middle School and Bangwon Middle School. Hanseo High School and Gangseo Industrial High School are also in the area.
