Baird, David Bates, and Arthur Bentley, each a story untold, are forever engraved. After the Second World War, more names were added to The Men of St-Lambert War Memorial, a somber reminder of the continued cost of freedom. Names like Richard John Anderson, Thomas D. Anyon, and Joseph Phil Arthur Bail joined the ranks of the fallen. The memorial stands in Mercille Park, a place of quiet reflection. Every year, on the Sunday closest to November 11th, the city of Saint-Lambert gathers at The Men of St-Lambert War Memorial.
