Students work towards the Brunei-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level exams. These exams, also known as the BC-GCE O Level, mark a significant milestone in their academic journey. In 2014, His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei visited Sayyidina Abu Bakar Secondary School. He toured classrooms and labs. He interacted with students and even watched cultural performances. This visit wasn’t just a formality. It highlighted the importance of education in Brunei. It demonstrated the monarch’s personal interest in the students’ development. The school boasts over 40 clubs, reflecting the diverse interests of the student body.
