In 2004, Mukim Lumapas had essential infrastructures. These included three primary schools and three secondary schools. There were also four mosques, a post office, and four police posts. These facilities highlight the mukim’s commitment to education, religion, communication and security.

STKRJ Kampong Lumapas is the mukim’s sole public housing estate. It addresses the housing needs of the community.

Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School is in Kampong Lupak Luas. It opened in 1994 and was inaugurated in 1996. In 2004, it had 1,208 students and 105 teachers. The school is named after Umar. He was a companion of Muhammad and a Rashidun caliph.

Other notable places include Jong Batu. This is an island in the Brunei River. It adds a natural landmark to the mukim.

Othman Bidin was a Bruneian educator born in 1913. He is among the notable people from Mukim Lumapas.

Kampong Lumapas itself had a population of 2,709 in 2016. It features Lumapas Primary School and Lumapas Religious School. These schools serve the educational needs of the village. The Kampong Lumapas Mosque was completed in 1995. It can accommodate 700 worshippers. Bukit Saeh Recreational Park is a recreational area near Saeh Hill.
