“Colegio Sagrado Corazón. Vallecas. Nine in the morning.” These words paint a vivid picture of daily life at the Sagrado Corazón. The Sagrado Corazón isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant hub of activity, deeply woven into the fabric of Vallecas. It’s a place where students from infantil to secundaria learn and grow. A place where traditions, like the Fiesta del Otoño, are celebrated with gusto. Students come dressed in autumn-themed attire, marking the change of seasons with joyful festivities. The Sagrado Corazón is also a place of innovation. Students in first and second ESO embark on “aprendizaje fuera del aula,” learning beyond the traditional classroom walls. Projects like “Cultivo” and “Marcos de mira” offer unique learning opportunities, fostering creativity and exploration. The school even hosts “Jornada de Puertas Abiertas,” or open house days, on February 25th and March 4th, welcoming prospective families to experience the Sagrado Corazón firsthand. It’s a community sustained by generosity, where contributions support the academic, human, and spiritual growth of its students. The Sagrado Corazón isn’t just a school. It’s a living testament to the power of education, community, and tradition in the heart of Vallecas.
