What started as a single school offering English to Kindergarteners has blossomed into a multi-city network of educational excellence. Today, USAIS boasts a prestigious Australian-American Curriculum, with campuses in Phnom Penh, Sisophon, Battambang, and of course, here in Siem Reap. But did you know that USAIS goes beyond just teaching English? They’ve expanded to include adult English courses, computer training, and a top-notch Khmer language program. And if you’re looking for their symbol of good luck, just look for Mister Mike, the playful statue that greets students at every USAIS branch. This mascot has a rather fascinating origin story. Chea Heang, the General Director of USAIS, discovered the original statue during his travels in Yunnan province, China. Intrigued by the playful figure, he knew instantly it would be the perfect embodiment of the school’s spirit.
