Inaugurated on January 16, 1998, the monument weighs 2,500 tons. Its total height reaches 30 meters. The sculpture itself is 20 meters tall. It rests on a 10-meter pedestal. Honduran sculptor Mario Zamora Alcántara, residing in Mexico, designed this masterpiece. CONSULCRETO, led by engineer José Francisco Paredes, carried out the structural engineering.
